Media Compass is a Palestinian youth initiative dedicated to promoting media literacy, critical thinking, and digital citizenship among children and young people.
This July, Media Compass is launching a Media Literacy Summer Camp for children aged 10–14.
The camp will provide an interactive learning experience where children explore media literacy, critical thinking, digital citizenship, AI awareness, and responsible content creation through games, creative activities, and hands-on learning.

Developed by undergraduate student Sajeda Manasra and her collaborators, the camp brings together local and international expertise to help empower the next generation with essential media literacy skills. The Media Education Lab is proud to support this important initiative!
Recently, Media Compass has been honored with the Student Led-Initiatives Award by Al-Quds Bard College in recognition of its efforts to promote media literacy and critical thinking among children and youth in Palestine. This award is another step in the journey toward building a more media-literate society.
